The Northern New England Invitational was launched in 2016 with the mission of providing students in northern New England with access to inspiring and challenging experiences in STEAM through Science Olympiad. The upcoming tournament will be held at Dartmouth and organized by the School of Graduate and Advanced Studies, with the support of Dartmouth faculty and students, and the collaboration of the regional Science Olympiad and STEAM community.
Dartmouth College is located in Hanover, New Hampshire. The tournament will be held at the Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine and in the Class of 1978 Life Sciences Building.
Registration will open on September 15th, 2018 for all teams in Northern New England (Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire). Registration will open for all other teams on October 15th, 2018. Registration fees are $100 per team, but we will continue to offer free registration to any first-year teams in Northern New England who are new to Science Olympiad. Registrations will be confirmed in the order they are received.

Please download the registration form using the link on this page, and mail it to the address on the form. Include a check for the registration fee, payable to Trustees of Dartmouth College. We are not currently set up to receive credit card payments. Scanned registration forms received via email will not constitute official registration until the registration fee payment is received. A blank invoice is available, or one can be obtained by contacting us. After receiving your complete registration and payment, confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided in the form.
All Science Olympiad policies and rules apply. All teams must be registered with their state prior to competing at an Invitational, but may register for an Invitational at any time. Rules for teams and students can be found on the Science Olympiad website. Rules for events are only available by registering with your state director.
All 23 Division C events will be run at the tournament, including lab and engineering events, but trial events will not be included. The tournament this year is a Division C tournament only, but in order to continue to promote the development of Division B teams in New Hampshire, we will continue to invite New Hampshire Division B teams to participate in selected events as non-ranking competitors. Please contact us for details.
Our schedule will be based on the schedule of the National Tournament in order to minimize event conflicts.
